- Choose a wallet app such as Coinbase Wallet, Mycelium, or Metamask.
- Create an account and record your recovery phrase.
- Some wallet apps may allow you to add an extra layer of security, like facial recognition or creating a passcode.
- Begin sending, receiving, or trading crypto.
4. Buy or mine cryptocurrency
1. Go to a cryptocurrency exchange website.
2. Type in the name of the cryptocurrency you want to purchase.
3. Select the amount of cryptocurrency you want to purchase.
4. Click the “buy” button.
5. Enter the security code you received after signing up for a cryptocurrency wallet.
6. Click the “confirm” button.
7. You will now receive your cryptocurrency.
